Our topic today comes in form of a question to everybody and it is also a heart issue. Kindly ask your neighbor the question our topic puts to everyone today. The heart is the beat of all afflictions in a man. That is why Proverbs 4:23 advises or recommends that we keep it in all diligence. This is because the most important reason you were created is to be grateful, thankful, and appreciative to God and it should come directly from the heart. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says, it is the will of God, and if you thank Him He can turn the situation around, if need be as in Acts 16:25-27.We can therefore refer to a heart of gratitude as one which gives thanks, praise and adoration to God through Christ in every situation and circumstance.
Reasons why you should have a heart of Gratitude:
- Divine health throughout 2018. Ps 118:20
- Divine provision
- For Dominion
- His peace. John 14:27
- Your salvation
- For answered prayers
- For prayers yet to be answered
- For prayers not answered
Benefits of a heart of Gratitude
- It paves way for greater doors to be opened unto you. Luke 17:11-19
- It makes GOD to want to do more. Luke 17:15- 19
- It makes your enemies to be at peace with you. Proverbs 16:7
- Appreciation from a heart of gratitude is a humble attitude that prepares you for lifting. Luke 17:15-19
The Bible and Bible characters from Old and New Testaments, shows that those great men and women who did exploits for the Lord all had one thing in common – the heart of gratitude. Jesus did not only teach it every time, our Lord also manifested a heart of gratitude. Anyone with the heart of gratitude never remains the same. Such a person is usually positioned for all round enlargement. Do you have a heart of gratitude?
